Start With Prayer

In Jesus’ name, we come before you in boldness. We thank you, Jesus, that we are your sons and daughters, and we can approach your throne with boldness because of what you did on the cross.
Lord, I thank you for the work that you did on the cross. You did the work so that we can rest. Our spiritual posture is at rest. We shake off the worry and anxiety.
Lord, for those who have been working and striving to achieve that love from you, I pray for your power to strengthen their spiritual muscles so that they can shake off that work mentality right now and that they would receive rest. They would receive grace. They would receive peace that is only found in you. Lord, you did the work so that we could rest and receive all that is in store for us, in Jesus’ Name.
In Jesus’ Name, we receive the wisdom that only you could give us, Father. Wisdom to make the right decisions this week. I just declare over everyone who needs wisdom to make the right career decision, wisdom for the right relationship decision. Lord, we thank you now that the Holy Spirit counsels us, comforts us, and is the umpire of our lives. We thank you that you guide us and lead us with your peace. You are opening every right door and closing every wrong door.
Father, your word says that we can plan our way so we will do our part, but your Word says that you establish our way, so thank you that our feet are being established right where they need to be this week. And that You are taking us to the right appointments; You are setting us up with divine meetings with people whom we need to meet with. I thank you, Lord, that you are making a way even when there seems to be no way.
In Jesus’ name, I thank you that you are providing us with everything that we need according to your riches in glory, Lord. We are not limited to our bank account, Lord; we are connected to you, and You have unlimited resources to dispense to your children.
Lord, I thank you that financial miracles are happening right now and that debts are being cancelled. Lord, I thank you for running over blessings right now.
Lord, I thank you that you are healing every sick body in Jesus’ name. That every cell, bone, ligament, tissue, and every part of the body is brought back to the way they are supposed to be operating, in Jesus’ name.
Lord, I thank you that addictions are coming off of us. That strongholds are being broken. Chains are being broken. Lord, I thank you that whom the Son has set free is free indeed. Thank you for changing our desires. That we won’t desire the things we used to. That you are changing our hearts and our thought life. That You cause all things to work for good for those who are in Christ Jesus. We are victors and not victims.
Lord, because of You, we will prosper. Because of You, we are moving from strength to strength and glory to glory! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Your deepest desires are for companionship and a noble purpose. We were woven with love to give love, and we’ve been clothed in armor to carry out a calling. • What Fasting Is Really For

I have a confession to make. I don’t always write my blog posts on the same day or week. Once in a while, I will sit behind the keys and pen out several posts at a time, as the Spirit flows through my fingers. And thank God for that because other times, I’ll stare at…

    Putting Power In Your Prayer

Jesus, that sweet name Jesus. Meet me here. You went to the cross, but you didn’t stay there. You went to the grave, but you didn’t stay there. You come here morning after morning to be with me, here. Calm the raging storm of concerns holding my mind captive. Whatever this resistance is that has…

  • Praying Specifically

Do you think God ever becomes overwhelmed by our prayers? That He finds our specific requests too greedy or as a sign of ungratefulness for all He’s already done? Do you think we trust Him with enough of them? NO! I realized a while back that I was generalizing my prayer requests to the Lord…

  • I Will Praise You In The Storm

There are days when you pray, and then pray even harder for it not to ‘downpour’ in that moment… And no matter how fast you may try to run from it, the storm comes anyway. Sometimes, that’s just the way life is. This was one of those days. So I threw my head back, laughing……

  • Whatever It Takes

There is nothing to fear. If He is for me, who can be against me? So please, Jesus, use whatever it takes… to bring me to my knees in humble adoration of You alone. To get my perspective in alignment with Your Will. Take this surrendered heart and have Your way. That is my prayer.
