A Prayer of Healing

All I can do is fall to my knees.

In the name of Jesus, I speak healing on behalf of my brother in Christ, Jesse March. In the midst of physical weakness, may the Lord God Almighty be revealed as strong. May every brokenness in that body be made whole, and the Great Healer show His glory through what can only be a supernatural healing from the Great I Am. Your word, oh Magnificent God, tells us of miraculous works that bind up every wound, a restoration that makes things new… Even better than before. We believe it, and speak it in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

    Answering The Call

It struck me in the middle of a citywide meeting in a fancy schmancy restaurant: ‘Ask for the leftovers.’ That’s tacky… I can’t ask. • Biblical Wisdom For Living On Purpose

Saturdays are short; life is short. And though we make our own plans, many details are uncertain. We like to mark the years with our birthday, but we would probably be wiser to number our days. One day a year isn’t enough when we have 364 more chances to make the most of every opportunity…

    Taking The Long Way Home

Contentment sometimes seems negative because we want to visually interchange it with complacency. But the word is simply gratification. In fact, contrary to being complacent, I wonder if it’s possible that being content is actually what moves us forward. After three summers of stubbornly braving the southern humid heat while sitting in hours of standstill…

One of the most fearless things you can do is to live free from your feelings. Keeping the peace regardless of your circumstance takes guts. • Don’t mistake no as the answer.

There are times God doesn’t close the door. Someone just told us no. Don’t mistake no as the answer. This is how perseverance grows. Conversely, sometimes you get a yes, and you know that’s not an open door for you. Hold out for something better. When you know where your purpose, passion, and skills intersect…
